My name lives again! (at work...)

My name has always been pronounced "Laila" *cough* by white people, and I've been pretty used to this pronunciation ever since living in this country, from then on, I always accept people pronouncing my name as "Laila".  If someone actually calls me "Leela", I'd be very surprised, but I rarely get that anyway. 

Being at Microsoft, things are a bit different, people are rather diverse, they come from all over the world, so my PM figured out that my name is actually pronounced as "Leela" and consistently wanting to call me "Leela".  At our team meeting, he called me "Leela" just to confuse the living crap out of everybody. So the next day at work, everyone was calling me "Laila", followed by, "Leela".  Just in a matter of two days, they are now pretty used to calling me by my actual name, Lila, "pronounced as "Leela".

Just to add more confusion, my parents call me "La" if that spices things up a bit. 

Urbane Apartment Conversion

Urbane was one one of the condos that was on my list to visit. When I was set to go one Saturday and then the rain started so I never really bothered to go back.  A few weeks ago, I learned that Urbane was converted to apartment from word of mouth.  I wasn't fully convinced so I visited their website, the first thing I saw was "Now Leasing".  Being pricey and all, I'm actually not too surprised they decided to convert to Apartments. 

Redmond condos sales history

Recently, King County has updated their Parcel Viewer web site and some of my links in previous condo posts are outdated, so I have gathered all sales history for each condo complex that I found was worth visiting. Also, you can access the Parcel Viewer itself to look up other properties.  Below are a few condos that have public information published on King County.

Cleveland

• I believe anything with "CLEVELAND ST DEV" as a tax payer is an unsold unit
  

Towne Pointe

• "FRAZER TOWNE POINTE" as tax payer indicates unit is not sold
• This one is pretty expensive, they've been trying to sell their condos for over a year now, yet, refuse to reduce to reasonable price for buyers.  To get a good size and bright condo at Towne Pointe, expect to spend at least $500,000.  The one that I am interested in is #201, it gets the best sun and is a corner unit. 

Element

• The Element is managed by REDMOND TOWNHOMES LLC so don't be confused why the name doesn't contain "Element" as the tax payer.
• The Element is still under construction; information maybe a bit lacking and unclear.
